hmm? Are you trying to say that our ancestors from 10000 years ago were like retarded or something? Can you imagine how stupid were ancestors of really stupid people?

Miley Cyrus's father??

I know, right? I was all set to mark this thread for "ignore" but it hardly seems worth the trouble. :-)

I have to say, as a 2000AD and Dredd fan since Tharg first fed me with Zargazz when i was young, that using the Stallone Dredd film image is really quite insulting. Bah!
Here's some proper Dredd...

It sounds good but will it be, good?

I will go along with the OP just for a second here. I would say that theory also applies to other places in society. Look at the last election, most the people that voted for Obama based their decision on the fact of race. It wasnt a matter of if he was qualified or not, it was race. If you dont believe me, listen to the Howard Stern street interview where he interviewed a ton of Obama supporters and asked why. Its really interesting that these people hold so much power but arent able to use it properly due to stupidity.

I don't buy that, at least the "most" part. I'm sure race wasn't an issue with me, nor the people who I discussed the candidates with. As for the Stern "man in the street" interviews, I wouldn't put too much stock in any interview or survey of that type. There are no controls. I could go out and interview people and via selectively deciding which ones to use, make any point I want to.

Im sure there are a lot of people who did vote for him based on actual merit. I can try to find the interview, but I can give you a gist of what it said here.
basically they asked why they were voting for Obama, they said because of policies.

Or, as in my case, who didn't ;)

Okay....then explain why a 54 year old, middle class white guy in rural south-central Pennsylvania would have voted for him.

Yeah.....Howard Stern.....there's a guaranteed "get all the facts straight and report them properly" kind of guy. LOL!!!

Oh....and to the OP. If that's the way you feel, then why are you here? What is it that holds interest?

Just asking, 'cause that seems like an awfully cynical attitude, especially when you consider the cyclic nature and how the place works. People come here, and if they stick around and work at it, they get good if they had some talent in the first place.

Do you feel that you're that much more qualified than say, oh.....Irene, Judi, Heida, Simms, Robert, Deb, Lydia, Jutilda, Sandy, Jason, Steve, and a whole host of others?

Yet these are the people who hang around and make the place better by helping your collective idiots, like me, get a clue, and doing a pretty decent job of it.

What have you done to help raise the bar of your fellow DPCers? Or did you just start this to throw stones.

Could you be getting hammered in a challenge????

Bwa-ha-ha-ha!!!!

Im just saying, a lot of people voted for him based on his race. I was surrounded by people who jumped on the bandwagon for him before they even considered looking into his policies. Again, i am sure there are a lot of people who did vote for him because of his policies, I know of a few myself. However, I knew a lot more that didnt.

Does the recording sound false or patched together to you? Like they "photoshopped" the recording? I believe that the tape shows how a certain group of people vote and think. Its said but true.
