Well Steve, looks like you and I are neck and neck with each having 7 votes and a 4.8571 score. Who'da thunk it. LOL.
An hour and a half in and only 7 votes from 10 views. Man this is going to be a long week. I do realize that there are other challenges to vote on, but wow....slow. |

Actually I've often thought that voting should be held off entirely until 24 hours after the entries are unvieled. That would give some people who are hot under the collar about their scores in ending challenges time to cool off before taking it out on others. Of course with so many challenges starting and stopping that might not go right, but who knows.
Sunday - Entries posted for viewing
Monday - Voting starts
Tuesday - Entries posted for viewing
Wednesday - Voting starts
Thursday - Entries posted for viewing
Friday - Voting starts
etc.
The wrench in the gear would be Free Studies which can fall on any day of the week.

Exactly the kind of person that should be banned, but nothing gets done about it. What gets me even angrier is the fact that the other voters have treated this person well with a 6+ votes received average. That makes me sick. |
Although, now that this is known, he left himself easy to spot in the challenge. I have a feeling the retaliation will be rough for him to swallow. |

There is over 300 shots in this challenge and I'm sure most voters have not even looked at it (for example I only voted on 5% so far). Given there is more than 6 days to go...I wouldn't lose sleep over it. |

11 votes and now 5.0, thats a bit better. Zikes I've had photographers block since Nov last year sure hoping to get back into the swing of things soon pleeeeeeaaaaaase.
Also decided that 35mm fixed is probably a better than 50mm on a non-full frame body (which is why I think my photo will bomb a bit cos I have 50mm) |

9 votes 4.888. When I woke up it was 3.6, so I suppose I should be thankful.
Reading some of the comments in the challenge below about the vote scrubber, reminded me that I thought I had read that the vote scrubber program had been tweaked a while ago (within the last 6 mths) - some sort of fine tuning needed. I searched the forum but could not find the discussion I was looking for. I wonder if it needs tweaking again? Certainly seems strange that somebody with an average vote given of 1.00+ has not had the votes scrubbed. |

I honestly don't give a hoot about my score, but when this type of voting disrupts the community I have been a member of for years, and it starts to upset people I have grown to love then THAT really starts to piss me off.
Until something positive has been done to weed out these bogey accounts, trolls or whatever the shag you want to call them I officially remain unimpressed and will "never renew my membership until it is dealt with".
I wish I could suggest a solution to the obvious problem, I am sure there are enough smart people on here that can though..
I think the forces to be need to see that this IS a real problem and is destroying the wonderful harmony I came to know and love that was called DPC
My score can rot in hell (it is not so bad to be honest) but to see good honest and excellent photographers submit scores of sub 4 even, THAT gives me the raging snots!!!
