just looking at the submissions,IMO they range as the good the bad and the ugly. There are a lot of pedestrian shots a couple of Presbyterian shots a few made me laugh, some made me cry. so I think te voters are conservitive in the challenge, maybe tthe subject is a little boring just my2c worth

Holy cow Jeb, you lookin at a front page here!
My poor ole entry hoverin at 4.5 with my only comment says too dark. Looks great at home but like crap at work. I'm gonna cal the work monitor tomorrow and try to figure the problem. 100+ voters probably aren't wrong. :{

I dunno......I *still* think there are some 7+ folks not reporting. I gave a lot of high votes out and I saw what I thought were easily a dozen better'n mine.

That's weird about your work monitor......the one I was given at work was too dark, plus it was an old enormous CRT that hogged up my desk. I brought in a Dell flat panel of my own, and it's dark, too. I guess my work computer needs a vid card......8>(
It works fine for my job, so no hope for any improvement unless I buy the card.
Ain't hapnin'! LOL!!!

| Well, at home I have a dell flat screen and at work a crt. Calibrated the dell TWICE with an I-One and still think the pic looks great.....Gonna do the crt tomorrow. Maybe the one commentor needs a calibration and the others just didn't like the photo..hahaha |

I didn't enter this challenge.
But having just voted and commented, I appreciate the wonderful, out-of-the-box entries we are seeing. The best of these are truly worthy of a close look. Hard to narrow it down to best-of-show! |
