The pleasure was all mine :)

I now see it's another fine example of an Iphone photo, as well.

Thank you Don, especially after the wheel conversation that planted some ideas in my head!

great original thinking on this shot, without the benefit of reviewing for OOBies I wouldn't have made the connection. very well done and creative ray_mefarso.

Wahay! I got an Oobie! I'm delighted. Thanks very much vawendy and everybody else. I got a lot of really positive comments about this image, and the criticism was also very helpful. A newbie oobie! I'm really enjoying my dpc experience; does anybody else think it's like crack?

I've never tried crack, but I think DPC's more addicting. :D

And did I mention I got one? Hurrah, hurrah for me!

Pressing the update button in my sleep and on the tube journey, not good.

What on earth is an oobie, and why is it awarded?

fyi, while the spirit is the same, the selection procedure has changed. it's much more efficient to have a small committee make the selections.

(would be nice to bring the yappies back, too... just saying...)

I agree... But I think that tanguera's page would be filled with yappies and there'd be no room for her pictures.

Thanks again Don for adding me to your Posthumous Art Gallery. Hanging there means so much to me.

Woo hoo! You know Don, even though we bicker at times (hopefully in a friendly way), your awards probably mean more to me than ribbons because I have far fewer of your awards! As I may be entering into a monotone experiment phase, I'm hoping to pick up a few more!
02/07/2011 12:21:30 AM · #1725
Ha Vlado, I was just going to post the exact same images (well, almost exactly the same) We obviously have excellent taste! I think I'll post anyway.
