There'll be a new batch in a few hours to add to this so we should get cracking!

Well, I cracked a few, but there are still over 50 to go.
:-))

When NUZZER first started this thread, there were 57.

Now? Either there are 76 Trombones or 76 requests for Critiques.
Shall we find out which?

65 to go before Sunday's rollover...

Geez, sfalice, when do you sleep?! ;-) I'll get around to some later, find it difficult to write critiques in the middle of the day. Save some for me!

I'll chop down some more today, let's see if we can clean up the queue :)

Oh, that would be nice. Then it will be several weeks in a row that we've cleared it.

You know what else that's fun? Since I've been back participating in the Critique Club again, my own scores have been going up...well except for the occasional stinker.

Friday night and its 38 in line - for a critique, that is.

We CAN do this.

14 Critique Club members have been active in the last two weeks.
There are lots more who like to do these. Now is the time to get your hand in.

*flexing hands, cracking knuckles* OK, I'm ready for a few. Bring em on!

As a CCer do you get to choose your images to critique, I only ask because I’m a more “out of the box” type of guy..

Nope. The images you get are random. You may get a diehard brown-ribbon shot, you may get a middle-of-the-pack shot, you may get a top 10. There is an 'out' option, which I've never used, but I suppose you can request that you NOT get a certain member's images to critique for whatever reason.

As it is, you will be asked to critique a couple for the SC to peruse and deem you knowledgeable enough to be granted full CC status.

Good luck!

Hi Alan!

I already got a deliberate Brown Ribbon attempt, and you got to take them as you go along :)
If you see that people did it on purpose to have a bad photo, then congratulate them on that, it's hard to get a bad photo and still comply with the challenge :)

And it will improve your eye for criticizing your own photos, by looking at others peoples' more attentively.

Regards,
Joao

8 left now. Anyone else want to do a few?
02/14/2010 11:28:45 PM · #17
There are still seven. I'm done though until rollover.
:-((

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I asked for a critique of this image, so am I one of the seven that are left?

The ones left in the current queue are from the Cold and Hot challenges, I believe. The one of yours did very well, Max, and I believe had some very good feedback. But as there will be tonight, there are often some "left over" when the challenges roll over and they go into the "not critiqued" pile - lots of those, unfortunately.

Thank you Deb for letting me know. I often wondered how that worked and if I really thought about it I guess I would have come upon the answer at some point or another.

MAX!
