I vote for matting also.

I only wish that it had been available before I bought a mat cutter.

I think matting would be a great idea!

Depending on price (not just of matting but also impact on postage costs) I'd possibly be interested.

In my case I'd be most interested in matting for the print sizes that are less standard - I can buy an 8x10 one cheaply on the high street but an 8x12 one can't be found for love nor money.

I either have to create it myself (not worth investment for number of times I'd need to do it) or pay wonga for someone else to do it.

could be DPC changes the rule on the full frame matte / frame if interest is high enough. seems odd everything needs to be cropped to fit a 'standard frame/matte'.

the standard should be full frame.

I'm confused. I'm not sure what you're asking for here.

Greetings,
Yes, I think adding matting as an option would be essential to increase sales. As a new user, I too was shocked that it was not already an option. Someday I hope to have prints worthy of sale, and would, providing the pricing is competetive, use DPC prints often.

Taking a stab at it, but I'm guessing he's referring to the aspect ratio part of DPCprints. Specifically in this case to the fact that frames are only available at very restricted sizes / ratios.

Ah... in that case, then no, we really can't change it, or at least, we can't change it ourselves. We are at the mercy of what our back-end printing processor offers (this is also why we don't yet offer matting).

If they increase their frame size availability that can be added to DPC Prints.
