when i try putting a border around an image in photo shop 6.0 i go to file print; set up; border. sometimes the border is printed on all 4 sides of the image and sometimes it only prints on 3 sides. does anyone have any suggestions as to why it seems to be randomly selecting when to print 3 borders as opposed to 4 borders?

There's a better way to add borders in Photoshop:

Go to Canvas Size, under the Image menu, add the amount of border you want to the dimensions. Under Anchor make sure the center box is *highlighted* so that the size expansion will be equal on all sides. Then put your border on a separate layer or separate layers if you want to do multiple borders. This way you have the flexibility to fiddle with the borders as much as you want. If you're totally happy with the borders, you could flatten the file if you really wish.
