I'm not sure how many people look through the equiptment section on the site, but currently (for those that don't know) you can search by camera or lens to see what has been taken with your bit of kit.
It would be a useful add on if you could also search by camera and lens, so for instance you could look up all the shots taken by a Canon 20D with a f1.8 lens or of course any make / combination you care to name :- ) |

I like it. I also would like to be able to search through portfolio images that were not used in challenges for equipment. I think it would also be nice to go to someone's profile, click on a lens and have all the images that they have taken with that lens come up on one page.

| This would be very handy, I use the equipment section as part of the research I do when I'm looking at buying a lens. So anything to improve this feature would be nice (also the review coming soon on the equipment page has been there as long as I've been here :) ) |

| I was gonna suggest this, but forgot. So thanks for bringing it up, I was wondering how shots with an AF-S 70-300mm VR would look on the D90. Sure, they'd probably be similar to those on any other Nikon DX camera, but I wanted to see that one specifically, and maybe ask the photographer a few things about it. |

This part I really like, and I think it's been suggested before (including portfolio images in equipment search). As for the camera and lens together, I might use it, but usually the lens itself is enough and they are mostly split out by brand.
One other thought...the same lens is in the equipment list several times (i.e. Sigma 70-200 for Pentax, Sony, Canon, Nikon, etc...). It would be nice to get search returns with all images for that lens, regardless of mount. |

| great idea... i do not think that could be a problem for Langdon, is a "simple" query to the database... |
