Just thought I'd suggest about automating the tie process. Doing it manually can be a pain. I put a code fragment in the following which was listing the ties in a previous challenge: //www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=953596&page=1#5756594. You're more than welcome to utilize for sifting through ties. My friends and I used to run a photo challenge on a forum, and this is how I dealt with the ties, rather than doing it manually. It only needs to be called once when the challenge is 'closed', and shouldn't utilize that much time. It only goes through the list of images once, with no nested loops, etc...

Only one SC member online right now, so if you don't get no any replies from one soon, consider bumping every once in a while. Good idea by the way, I was wondering why something like that wasn't put into place but assumed it was too complicated. Seems simple enough, though :)

SC has nothing to do with it anyway; they are not involved in closing and scoring challenges. Go to "Help" and send an administrative inquiry to Langdon with your code in it.

My bad, I thought they passed on these kinds of suggestions to  Langdon. |
