I know a few are very impressed ...but I'm not.
Not saying I think the images are bad, it's just that the spectrum is slightly different. There are a lot of images that could've been 7s or 8s had they been a bit different, but instead drop to 5 or 6. There are only two images that deserve a ribbon in my opinion. So again, the images aren't bad, they're just... meh. The overall quality of "good images" is lower than I expected, as is the number of "excellent images." It's a good thing there aren't any truly horrible images for me to give 1s or 2s to...
(Yes, I only give 1s or 2s to horrible images. Even a completely DNMC entry, if technically perfect, gets a 4 from me)

wow, talk about a roller-coaster. My shot had been sitting at around 5.88 or so most of the week. On Friday afternoon, it spiked to 5.95. Stayed that way until about mid-morning Saturday.
Then, without warning, and within 5 votes, it nose-dived to 5.82
Wow.
That's a full .13 drop in the matter of a few hours.
That's nutso! |

I went from 5.95 to 5.79 from Saturday afternoon to rollover. I've never seen a drop like that in such a short period of time in my whole time here. |
