The first two are just the last one done as a cross montage.

The last one is the same image () flipped on the vertical and blended with difference.

If I could please add a request--in the details, pls add the name of the editing software you are using. I love reading the details, but sometimes I can't figure out what they mean. The name of the software might help. I am soooo looking forward to this one, I love overlays.

I'm starting out with one from my portfolio that I did earlier this month.. I'm already behind in getting shots for this side challenge. Can't wait to see everyone's overlays!!

Posting a second while the going is good, as I will be travelling tomorrow and unlikely to have chance to post anything. This is an analogue (Holga) image with a digital overlay :) Best of both worlds?

I just captured a deck of Tarot cards, & my plan is to try for a set of 12 Tarot-inspired overlay images. Maybe this one will be one of them, after I work on it some more later tonight. I like the effect of combining photo-reality with graphic design, it looks cool.

I'm new at this technique and I have a question. Are textures and overlays completely different, or can a texture BE an overlay (or visa-versa)??

Count me in, please! I've been needing something to kick start the creativity, and this is just the ticket. :)

I also used a couple of Photoshop brushes in this one...
