Emails have been flying and it's time someone started our 2009 Wish List thread! Don't yell at me that it's too early because last year it was started on November 1st! :P
This is so much fun and it really makes those wanting to participate feel good! I had a ball granting wishes last year. (It was my first year...)

Things have been tough for everyone lately, so doing a LITTLE something for someone else can be such a rewarding experience.

Let the wishing begin......(fairy dust, fairy dust, fairy dust).....(elf hat esque...)

A new Trek hybrid WSD bike. :-) Camera-wise, I already bought my present, so I'm good.

just a thought -- would it be tacky if you met someone's wish by giving them a gift code or something like that to the store where they could buy what they wanted? i sent a few things last year that were relatively inexpensive, but postage ate me aline.

I was thinking this year, if I could give them a "gift" virtually with a link to what I found, I may be able to do more (not that I can do a lot).

But if you gave your camera wise thing away then you would have a camera wise thing to ask for. ;)

Prolly gonna be a thread for that 'wish', too! ;) The cards are also fun!

I don't think so!! It's the thought that counts, not how much you "spend"! Most of the stuff I sent last year was really small stuff, but it was what had been wished for. :)

Hm, yea, $ 9000 CDN, body only. The 8.2 goes for roughly half that now, sans lens...

Awe, come on kids...isn't there just some little, tiny, weenie, insignificant thing that you want? I hate to break Zeuszen's bubble, but my budget this year is a bit smaller! :P

Super Mario for Wii

I'm easy to please.

Or a professionally designed identity package for my business. That would be swell. I might hit the wife up for that.

*Whoops, I didn't realize this was kind of a secretish santa deal, these are things are i'm already getting, but the sentiment is appreciated.

I'd really love an image stabilizing zoom in the 70-200/300 range, but that's a high end item.

electronic flash for Canon 30D
reflectors/umbrella
remote control for Canon 30D
silver charms for pandora/biagi/chamilia bracelet
fun kitchen gadgets
flower seeds
reed diffusers

Getting my blue ribbon back. :~(

I've got some old 220 film. Was supposed to be used in 2006, so i have no idea if it's any good any more. But i'll donate it to someone that will use it. It's been kept refrigerated, if that helps.

ok, since the Christmas Card thread will be coming later.. I did manage to come up with a few insignificant items I'd like to find in my stocking..

Star filter for Canon EOS 450D
Remote for Canon EOS 450D
Red Wine (favorite=dessert wines)
Cute Wine Glass Charms
Yankee Candles (votives or tarts) mild scents (favorite=sun&sand)
Starbucks coffee mugs
Boston Baked Beans :)

and this is not exactly insignificant and definately won't fit in my stocking.. but it sure would fit nice in my driveway.. LOL! :)
