Hey folks,

After some deep thought (and after seeing some revived threads lately about username changing), I've decided to change my username from AperturePriority. The reason being is that, in the past few years, I've been shooting primarily in manual mode. Because of that, my handle here at DPC was a bit outdated.

From this point forward, my new name is: Photologist.

Carry on...

Sounds like a certain type of medical specialist. I'll get used to it.

Shouldn't you then have changed it to "ManualMode"?? :P

Hopefully, my photographs won't look like the type taken from said specialist! LOL!

No apology required. The difference is that I don't put a rubber glove over my lens. :-D

I wonder if Slippy could change his name to AperturePriority? And I'm wondering if it would help?

I tried to use the same name ( Photologist) over on my Flickr account, but it was taken. :-(

So I decided on the name Photolibrium over there.

One sounds like a special doctor, the other sounds like a serious medical condition.

That's right...I want folks to have a feeling of relaxation, as well as a soothing sensation when they view my nature and landscape images. I just hope the images don't put them to sleep! LOL!

Yes it is. Photography to me is like a fever, and the only cure is more photography!

Hmmm problem is it sounds too close to say Photologic, which makes *absolutely* no sense at all...

*ducks and runs for cover*
