I took these tonight of my friend. And I was wanting some constructive criticism. Tell me what you think and what needs improving? =] THANKS!!

Of the 3 of them I think the first one is by far the strongest and most flattering to your model. The pose is a little unusual with her apparently leaning into the shot and not making eye contact with the camera - it ends up looking more candid than posed - but maybe that's what you wanted ? The images also seem to be a little on the soft side ? Apart from that there most other things can be gently tweaked in photoshop - see below for quick and dirty edit

| I Like the First one although it's a little out of focus it has lots of movement ,her smile look genuine and sometimes is better not to look into the camera. The 2nd one is technically OK it's just that the pose is not very interesting . The 3rd one looks a little underexposed and I don't care for the cellphone.. |

I agree with the first 2 comments. I will only add that there is way too much red in these pics. Easy fix. Other than that she seems very comfortable in front of the camera. Definitely continue to shoot her.

I will give this a go.
I agree the first one is the best of the 3, The only thing I would suggest is getting her hands completely into the frame. I know it is probably too late to do that now.
The second photo I like the pose and her expression, Lighting is pretty good but could be a little softer around her shoulder area, the hands in pockets works nice.
the third photo, The lighting is pretty good, Agree it is a tad underexposed, again the hand is not in frame. perhaps the hand in pocket would have been better.
Would also have to agree that the red/pinkish hues could be tuned down a little bit.
Overall nice photos. I am sure she will be happy with them. |

| Thanks you all so much for taking time out of your day to help me!!! I am going to shoot another friend of mine kids tomorrow. They are ages 4-7, any tips or techniques? I know I am asking some basic stuff but I am new to this and I want to get some good fundamentals. |

Get your model(s) a little farther away from the background, if possible. There seems to be some bleed from the BG lighting. Agreed on the white balance, maybe read up on setting your camera's custom WB with a gray card, or white piece of paper. A little post-processing for the skin would also work nicely, there are some good Photoshop plugins like Portraiture by Imagenomic.
