I know I'm not the only one using Topaz and CS4, but am I the only one who has to restart every other time because of the process -1000 whatever error code? I remember that when they first came out with Adjust, but it got fixed. But since I've moved to CS4, it's happening again with a disturbing frequency. I upgraded last night to version 3.4 of Topaz Adjust thinking that might help, and it errored the first time out. Do I have to give up Topaz (probably a good thing) or revert back to CS3 if I want to use Topaz?? Grrr.... I really do hate software sometimes...

I'm not having any problems using CS4 and Topaz Adjust.

I don't get that, but Topaz Detail seems to crash CS4 every time I use it. Seems to get stuck "analyzing".

Melethia, please tell us your system specs (OS, video card, RAM, etc.) and size of the images you are trying to process so we can compare notes.

I use all Topaz products on both a Mac Pro and MacBook with no crashing problems, though I don't tend to work with huge images.

Works great with PaintShop Pro. No problems over here. Whatever the issue is must be Photoshop specific.

Topaz Detail seems to work 90% of the time with CS4. As Neil pointed out, it gets stuck 'analyzing' at times.

You using it on 16-bit images? It can REALLY bog down on those...

It is multi-core capable, however. Might be a compelling reason to replace my dual core Athlon with a quad-core Phenom.
