R: Did you have to get a Thesaurus out for that one? |
Some people actually know words like these.

What is it?
It's a photograph.
Oh , swans are so beautiful.
Not when they shit.
Next time crop the bottom.
I could put it on top.
DNMC. I don't see it.
It's in braille. Run your fingers over it. |

• obtuseness - dullness: the quality of being slow to understand
• obtuseness - the quality of lacking a sharp edge or point
The first is a quality of the reader, not of the writer. While the second is a quality of the work itself, I don't see how you could say that comment is lacking a point... I think the comment is wonderfully precise and articulates exactly what the commenter is feeling about the image.
Why, exactly, are people having a problem with this comment? I wish *all* comments were this precise and informative.

ok... when my comment was first quoted by posthumous he decided to delete part of the quote to better prove his point... and i must add that when he said that, I found it quite rude as well.. when you say "Some people actually know words like these." you are basically saying that I am stupid because I don't know these words... if you want to comment on something someone says in a forum, please don't be rude about it...
the reason why I posed the comment here was not because of the commenters wording... i posted it because I found it very funny how he yammered on about the technical aspects of the image, then at the end said "Oooh! Look! He's a got a really small hand! So I don't like it" ... i found it funny because it seemed as though he didn't like it because my bro in the pic looked like he had small hands... |

I admire the sheer audacity of your attempt to cast me as the rude, insulting one.
