Closing on 5.7. My entry actually won a small local contest in its division, and then took Best in Show. But the best barometer is this place...tough crowd! What's great in some circles is just pretty good here. Nothing like a shot of humility and reality to keep you learning!

For reasons that have been argued over and over again here in the forums, "this place" is hardly the best barometer. Creativity and experimenation are rarely acknowledged let alone rewarded here. But show us bokehfied wildlife... RIBBON!

Holding on to my 6... I'm so excited.
At first, voting seemed like it would be a formidable task. I almost excused myself from this one. However, I decided to go through them and I'm so glad I did. I've only looked at less than 10% so far but I find myself commenting on a lot. I am really enjoying myself; these shots are great. |
