Pretty much as I expected. As much as I hate to say it, this may be one of the worst challenges I've ever seen. I'm at 30% voting and may stop because it's lowering my average score given so much, it makes me look like an ogre. LOL |

I thought this was a pretty rough challenge to vote in as well. Alot that are technically low key images - but not many that had any impact or interest.

Deam I didn´t realise spying was possible, well as I said, it took long time for me to finally submit a photo, I just wanted it to be good enough, compared to what I have seen on DPC, I maight have succeded! |

Sure it will. How could Judy #2 possibly give a vote below a 7? Impossible!
I agree though, it's a weak Challenge and it's not that hard a concept to wrap around, at least in theory...perhaps not in practice. It does look like people don't quite understand Low-Key.

Okay, so I know my entry is not DPC friendly and I knew this would happen. The question I asked myself (all the way up to the point of roll over) was, do I care? My answer was not really - I know I like this picture and I'm only hoping for the one commenter who will let me know it's appreciated. (well, ok, more than one would be nice).

Not voted yet, but I did look over the entries, and it appears some people just turned down the brightness on a shot they liked. We've had a few of these kind of challenges lately. I do find it kind of interesting how many of these concepts are misunderstood. This one will be tough to vote on, though. Where exactly do I draw the line on what is or is not low key?
BTW, Judy, for whatever it's worth, if you think this is a weak challenge, I think it is even more important you vote and comment on it. Most of us have thick skins. |
