My first two scores were and 8 and a 10 but this is what my avg has dropped to with just 11 votes

I got mine as well. Dropped from 5.61 to 5.28 in one vote. As usual, no explanation of why they think it sucks. I have come to expect this sort of behavior in the open challenges.

Me too. I think it is time to lock the doors on DPC and quit letting the blind join. lol

argh....i was hoping it'd really loved or really hated. (my actual prediction was 3.8). but that last thing i wanted was for it to be sub-average.poot

Initially I was really looking forward to this challenge having seen many of the crisp shots folks post week-in-week-out. But after really trying to get a decent low key shot straight out of the camera, I realised that it is rather difficult without any clue of lighting (or any lighting equipment for that case!).
Still, the heavy amounts of post-processing needed certainly helped me to learn a few new tricks.
I'm just glad I didn't post the self-portrait ones I took!

This is the first challenge I participate in, and wow this will be a long and exciting week.
For long time I have wanted to submit a photo to a challenge, but have never been happy with
the photos I thought of submitting, until now, just hope the voters wont be to harsh,
and that I will get some constructive comments. |

I haven't voted yet, so it's not my fault! :) I do, however, appreciate the comment you left and sure hope your top 20 prediction is right... I've got a 5.07 with 27 votes though, so I'm not sure. |
