I've never really tried it before so I'm just curious what your approach is? What's worked and what hasnt?
Do you just walk into the business and ask to speak to the manager then explain that you're a photographer and would like to offer your services for marketing in exchange for your work being displayed there? or whatever you're going for?
Do you call first? email? Just wondering what your approaches are and how you handle it.

Sounds win/lose.
They get marketing (which would be displayed anyway...thats what marketing is for) and you get nothing. Unless you are talking about additional work being displayed there. |

I would prob just walk in there and talk to the manager or owner. What type of buisness are you talking about?

I think he wants to display his prints for sale, like in a coffee house for example, or who knows where. He's offering to do promotional shots for the business in exchange for wall space.

| Thats what I figured Bear, just wanted to make sure it wasn't something where he ultimately just ends up giving away marketing. |
