From what I'm seeing, this is going to be a low scoring challenge. I just think the overall quality of them as a whole isn't THAT great. When they are all "oh wow," or "GREAT!," then I think you tend to vote higher because you are used to being awed or impressed. I guess this one is the opposite. LOL |

My first submission in almost a year... it was bad enough when I logged back on to DPC and saw that my profile now showed my age at "40" (uggh)... I was really hoping for a good score to boost my ego.

| Woah, got 9 votes in a couple hours, with an average vote of 4.000. And it's not a bad image, it really isn't. It's way better than my "Best of 2008" entry, and it's at 5.0270 where that one had a final score of 5.1682. |

It's funny you mentining the quality not being that great... I got exactly opposite perception. I actually found this FS one with the most interesting and nice images in a long time.
My average vote given is one of the highest for the past year, considering all challenges, I reckon.
I guess this just tells how things are really crazy here at DPC... you'll never know what moves the collective thinking... |

I have a long way to go. I'm trying to vote slowly and thoughtfully so maybe I haven't seen the zingers yet. I hope that's the case. I've given 48 7's and 6 8's. Waiting for the elusive 9 and 10. :~)
