| it started as a 5.8 consistantly and now down to a 5.3, people really annoy me when they vote low without a reason or leaving a comment! |

OMG...my vote spreadsheet won't even register my SHINY NEW 4.5 because it says the vote average must be HIGHER than a 1 and not greater than a 10....lol! So I just got a .9999 vote!! (Impossible, but need another voter before I can use my spreadsheet.)

Trying to comment 100%. It's slooooow going though as I am really taking a lot of time to study each and every shot. Hopefully i'll get to 100% by the end of voting. I'm taking a break for now though. those 19 took me an hour or so. and I apologize in advance if anyone finds my comments to be harsh. I'm just trying to be as constructive as possible.
BTW: right there with the rest of you. Down nearly .45 in the last few hours.

Everyone should know by now that a good percentage of the people voting on any given challenge have not read that actual challenge description. Those entering the challenge are the most likely to have read the description and will vote accordingly. The moral of the story: If the challenge is "Twisted II" and the description says "curved or twisted" you are better off ignoring the actual description and shooting for the challenge title. Sad but true.

Same here. If nothing is really coming to mind as a good title I can sometimes tend to go quite literal. My title in this challenge for example is very literal. and subsequently boring....lol |

I actually apologized for my title in the first line of my photographer's notes on this one.
And I do believe it is time to turn off scores. Besides, the Free Study comes up tomorrow and this way, with scores off, I won't know which one is sucking the worst as I watch the overall average plummet. The things I do to amuse myself.... |

Aww, man! And I was just thinking of how I'll get my average up to 5.4+ with my X and Twist entries and be able to cross off the first goal on my profile. But with that FS coming up, it's bound to go down again, probably to 5.2 since my entry's so bad and there are so many voters... |

I'm impressed that you can do that. No matter how good or bad my score is, I get way too curious!! I had one photo that I loved and thought it was so incredibly under rated. Yet it kept going down, down, down and I was getting so fed up I turned the scoring off... for a total of 1.5 hours before I turned it back on again! :D

taking 10 minutes for lunch, so I had to check and see how things are going. Last time I checked this morning, it was 6.2727, so there hasn't been a large jump or drop.
Regarding titles: I SSOOOOOOOO wish that we didn't have to title the images!!!! I hate coming up with titles. Every 1 in 15 I get a great idea. Otherwise, I've even accidentally named two challenges in the same week "abandoned". urgh. |

free studies are incredibly harsh voting... I sometimes think that the free study score is about .5 lower than it would be in a normal challenge. |
