i cant vote tonight, my model has put me in the ultimate worst mood ever. looked at everything though, ummm..... i wasnt e=very impressed at all. maybe my attitude is the issue here

Wow....Sorry, prob. the lowest challenge I ever scored since I've been here. A hand full of good solid images, just don't know what to say. I'll try to comment later in the week and I'm sure 80% of you will not like it. Maybe it's me....hmmmm. Is there a way to go back and not vote? Sorry.

I'll come back tomorrow and vote. If I voted and commented today Judy would beat the hell out of me and I'm certainly not sure which is hers. I did look at all and was a bit mystified by the low number of entries. I'm hoping a fresh start and better attitude about the images will help me vote well. I intend to comment on all. I expect to be called out on at least two comments. LOL

Can't really vote at work either, but just did a quick thumbnail scan...something about BW nudes does it for me, while color nudes are an instant turn off to me. I don't know why.

my future is definitely in weddingphotography

Nude wedding photography?? I did not submit in this challenge because I had a problem with finding a model. I also did not want to take a self-portrait for fear of breaking my camera...lol Most of the pics got pretty high score from me. There were some good shots.

I kinda agree with that. Color nudes can have a cheapish look to them but some are very nice. I way prefer B&W, mono/duotone in general.

I just finished voting, and I gave a average of a little above a 6. The thing that surprised me is that my top scores where shared equally between male, and female models. That says a lot about the creativity of the photographers of the male models ability to overcome my slight homophobic nature.

Personally I find that male nudes tend to be more interesting, just because the musculature tends to be more photogenic, and provides more interesting lighting options, in my opition.

Looks like people woke up this morning and decided they didn't like my shot. Somehow between 9 and 10am I've dropped almost a full 0.2points. SIGH! I thought i was looking at a PB with this shot.

Yeah, I was too. I gave a single 10, one 8 and 4 7's. So many are sub-par. Maybe I should stop voting. LOL

ive given out a fair amount of 7s(like 6 i think), but a bunch of 4s too. i hate challenges like this. there needs to be at least one or two that really jump out for me, and nothing ive seen yet really has. im going to review all my commenting/voting from last night for sure today though; im guessing i was really mean lol

It might help to remember many of the entrants are not professional photographers, or even aspire to that. However, knowing there's a Judi and probably a Larus in there somewhere might skew the results for those of us who don't get a chance to work with models/portraits nearly often enough.
