Post your outtakes from the Nine challenge here.

I liked these (maybe better than my entry), but the lighting couldn't be saved on the first one, and I wasn't sure if the second one really conveyed what was going on.

I only made about 10 exposures total and these three were the only useable ones.

I wasn't sure if there was enough contrast between the white background and the magazine! Don't know if I made the right choice!

Thanks Karen! I almost never make the right choice! Well, that explains my lack or ribbons :)

I like your outtake better, but that's because I'm a B&W person. Your entry did well both in score and placement - your outtake may not have scored as well, as most people prefer color.

My entry, which tanked big time:

But you'll note I didn't quite get to "Nine" in the outtakes... :-)

ok, this is not an outtake but maybe I should have submitted the version of this in my notes ;)

Am not on a rant as the first day of voting/commenting told me I was a little too subtle in this challenge

I was one of the low voters to miss out on the subtle element of 9 you portrayed!.. now i think you were robbed by voters like me who didn't look close enough!

Hey Vikas, we did speak about this and I'm putting the blame firmly at my feet for being too subtle ;)

I know.. it was easy to guess this was yours during the challenge - based on your pm to me - only low vote marked helpful.

Btw thanks for the advice on not using a set method, I agree it works better without using that.

I enjoyed Ecce Signum's image and thought it would be in the top 20!
