OH! I care. I'm honoured... three mentions from three photographers that I rate VERY highly, on top of all the great comments, also from some very notable DPCer... I'm stoked. Honestly! More than makes up for the image not doing as well in the voting as I'd hoped. |

Thanks for noticing my shot Chazoe. I had fun doing it, but truth be told I don't climb much anymore and I staged that one in a back yard (as one commenter guessed!) ;-) |

It's one of my favorites in the challenge as well. Just outstanding atmospherics and intangibles to this one. But do me a favor and answer a question to settle an argument? How much is this image cropped on the left? A view of the original would be lovely...

Nothing from the left is cropped... I would have LOVED to have some room there, but this is all I had on the left to play with... I considered fixing the slight tilt in the horizon, but cause me to loose what little room I had on the left. Happy to post the original later tonight.
ETA: Thanks for the compliments Robert... yet another well respected DPC throwing me some praise... "I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy..." :)

My favourite (gave it a 10) and Most Under Appreciate (IMHO) in Cold II:
closely followed (gave these 9)by
  
but only  salmiakki's and  Resco_Joe's qualify for MUAIMHOs given the other two were top 10 finishers.
In Hot II... MUAIMHO goes to

Thanks colorcarnival, I appreciate the mention. I was pleased where my image finished, I knew it was a pretty bland subject but felt it conveyed cold pretty well so I went ahead and entered it and it was nice to see a few people enjoy it.
