In order to self-DQ, you have to write to SC to ask for them to remove the photo from the challenge. You can't do this on your own.

SC will send you a pm or email, asking you to consider the consequences of a self-DQ because it's considered one of your DQ alottments without penalty. I believe that you're allowed 2 without any penalty UNLESS they've changed that rule now??? So, if you accidently do something wrong and get DQ'd another time beyond that, you're at your limit. The next DQ and you've got a penalty for it.

It's best to really consider what you're thinking of doing because it may not be worth it for you. I know that you're upset at your score and likely don't want it hanging in there to watch it be masacred score wise LOL...BUT....think about what it will do by taking it out vs letting it ride and just chalking it up to a not so great score and move onto the next challenge or side challenge. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, does it? We all have our photos that bomb and we all react to it by wanting to pull it but, it may not be worth it. Just think about it and if you decide you want it DQ'd after that....write to SC and ask how that is done. They will answer. :)

Seems like people are liking my photo less and less as the week wears on. But I have to admit -- mine could have been edited better. I got a little inhibited about really glamming it up -- but now I wish I would have. It's prob'ly pretty boring, so I guess I'm glad for a decent score.

There is a huge discrepancy in voting vs viewing. But remember this is a member challenge, so there are probably still many registered users that are still interested in looking.

However, there's no excuse for difference in open challenges :D
