Nice going Tammy, I am pretty sure we are going through a rash of tough voters right now and the scores should go up. At least you have 1 comment. I am still waiting for mine. |

I think the square crop can be really good but not feeling it with some of the ones I've seen. Others are great. |

In a challenge of outstanding photos, "pretty damn good" gets a 5.0!
Keep it in perspective and remember what you are going up against here. I recently started playing on another contest site at the request of a friend. The level of talent there is not nearly as high as on DPC and stuff that places mid-pack here is winning contests on the other site. I've actually tossed some of my DPC entries in (there are no date limitations) and it's like the cliched phrase "shooting fish in a barrel". I also think my commenting is being found a bit harsh by some. |

I totally agree especially tough in FS. Mine is doing ok , north of 6. |

My worst ever score since I joined DPC. And I really liked this image and thought it to be one of my better ones. On another photo site it is doing well and getting positive comments.

Ummmm it sounds like it is time for me look at these other sites. I have actually entered some of my photos into my local photo club challenge and have currently won 1st, 2nd, 3rd places a couple of times now on photos that were deemed mediocre on this site.
Oh yeah my score is falling fast from a (5.6). Probably will be in the fours soon

LOL, Im not grumpy really but a steady drop from 7.2500 this morning will give you an idea of my OUCH feeling... Anything over a 6 is great I think.
