My last one is a composite of 4 shots. Gonna catch up on commenting today & tomorrow. There are some fine shots in this thread.

Here's a few I'd been holding back on as I was considering doing something with this scene for the September FS. Have something else to use now so these are safe to post. :-)

I'm pleased with the details this Panasonic Lumix FZ35 can capture.

Opportunistic Photojournalism -- fire suppression personnel search out residual hot spots after extinguishing a grass fire on the hill just outside the eastern portal of the southmost bore of the Caldecott Tunnel, on State Highway 24 at Fish Ranch Road, near Orinda, California. It messed up traffic quite a bit -- almost made Isaac late for his martial arts class ...

Shot out the windshield with my Olympus ...

... bah! I just noticed this fit one of this week's challenges ... shows how much attention I'm paying, eh? I'll put it back if I decide to enter something else ... :-(

And Barry, I guess my (windshield) glass is good quality because it survived the attack intact. But good point -- I tried to use the open passenger-side window, but the line of view was wrong.

You really shouldn't use your camera for purposes other than photography you know. You could hurt someone shooting up things like that. ;-)
