One thing I can say about the Panasonic LX3 is that it can take a decent photo in low light situations. This is a snapshot---taken down on the lake beach...there are not any lights around--we had the glow of the fire, and my friend had a small flashlight.

camera set on auto without a flash.
I can see why the camera was sold for $1. You can't change the settings very easy. The buttons don't respond or sometimes they go off by themselves.
Oh well, I'm having fun with the auto setting.

My mother's house in Florida has been up for sale, and I wanted to update the photos her realtor had taken and hopefully produce better ones for her listing. She has this Florida room with a bar her husband built, and it never really looks good in most photos...SO, I used the LX3 which has very wide angle abilities to try and capture different views. The one photo has a blueish tint to it, but I later realized there is a blue colored bulb in the ceiling fan above the bar.

One of my favorites taken with the LX3 right after I received the camera as a gift this winter. Taken in Naples, FL at Sunset

This photo was taken by using the double exposure feature found in the LX3's menu. I was sitting on the beach in Maine and started experimenting with the feature.

I'm gonna call this my Day 5 entry because I was playing with timer and macro mode...... but... I'm about to go out on a shooting adventure that I hope will net some fantastic pics. Guess I'll have to save them for tomorrow since I'll be back late. ;)
