| I turned my scores off. I try and try to tell myself that the scores don't mean anything I like the photo but when you wake up to 4's and you know that it is better then that it's time to step away from the button and just enjoy taking pictures. |

Under the current rules, this would be illegal. Earlier images may have been done under different rules, or they may have been made by using one long exposure and either using multiple flashes in a dark environment, or by covering and then uncovering the lens with a piece of black paper between "exposures."
Multiple exposures under Advanced are only legal to increase the tonal range or depth of field; each frame should essentially be the same frame/composition except for the difference in exposure or position of the focus.
At least your DQs are for a clear and objective violation; it really sucks when it's just for a difference in perception or interpretation like my last two ... :-( |
I would love to have double exposures (made by masking 1/2 of the lens) be legal. I've got an idea I really want to try... |

Umm - does anyone remember me ? Am I still welcome here ? I know it's been a while, and it's still difficult to pick up the camera, but I do have a horribly awful shot in for lines.

Starting to have some better days, which is starting to help me feel more like 'me' I guess. Helps that Brad is back to work (I'm sure I posted about him getting laid off - back in JANUARY !) finally.

I'm so glad you're back!
Sounds like everyone is sucking in lines--some really harsh voting out there. I had a shot that I liked, but was afraid that people wouldn't think it was enough of a line, so I entered veggies instead. After watching the forums, I'm really, really glad that I didn't do lines! |

It was actually at 6.42 with 88 votes, so I thought there was a chance at greatness. But it's been dropping steadily. I'm not at 6.1894 at 132 votes. Can't complain too much, because there were certainly things I didn't like about it. But the 6.42 was pretty fun... :D

I shall MIA for the next three weeks. I travel down to Cambridge later this evening to help my daughter move from her flat to a shared house, and will spend the weekend down there. The, on Monday I fly to Corfu for a two week holiday in the sun. Wahoo! I can't wait! The only downside is that I have two photos in voting, both 6+ers, and 'Lines' even has the potential to make my front page, and I won't get to know how they have done. I think I can live with that, though:-P
