When you purchase the Topaz plugin it will have precise instructions on how to add the plugin to Photoshop. But it is a very simple task to copy the plugin file with an .8bf file extension into the Adobe Photoshop 'plugins' folder. This folder will be found in the Adobe Photoshop CS3 folder. If you are using Microsoft Windows, the Adobe folder will be listed in the Windows 'Program Files' subdirectory. I have no clue as to how to add this file in a Mac operating system.

There are instructions in the howtoinstall.pdf file that comes with the software. For PhotoShop, the Topaz products will install into the default folder where PS will look for plugins.

For other compatible programs (Like the PaintShop Pro that I use), a custom installation is required.
