Hi, can anyone point me towards some HDR software or plug-in please? I'd like to have a 'play around' with it, so preferably something simple to use and free? Thanks in advance

Photomatix, trial version is free but you get ugly watermarks on it. It's not very expensive, checkt it out and see if it works on you.

I found the HDR tutorials from this guy very helpfull: HDR Video. There are plenty videos on the subject from him.

you can check out www.captainkimo.com too. He's a buddy of mine and the site is basically dedicated to HDR.

I use "Dynamic Photo HDR".

Dynamic Photo HDR received the Popular Photography Award for Photography's Outstanding Product for 2008.

It's relatively inexpensive, at USD $55.

Check out some of my HDR photos.
