A: There is quite the story to that. I heard that the makers of Nestle ice cream spent about $20 million in R&D funding to design a laser that burns a hole to the exact specifications of the size of the stick, and they have a team of highly trained chimpanzees which assemble the stick/frozen treat combination in a factory south of Boston. You can take tours there too... the chimps are rather friendly.
