What's a ptarmigan?

I think another name is Ruffed Grouse ... the ptarmigan may be the name given in its Winter configuration, when all it replaces its usual feathers for white ones.

Two things set at right angles to each other are square. A set square or a try square can be used to verify this - even a roofing square.

But it hurts the mind...
