My entries seem to follow a simple pattern: first 5 votes are high, then a drop, then somewhat of a rebound, whose strength varies. At least I actually have a couple comments now.

Might be the same new member who just left a comment and a low vote on mine. I did PM them thanking them for at least explaining their low vote. That should be encouraged and perhaps they will participate more in the future.
