Wow! That was harsh!!! Just finished looking through them and I do not agree that these are a bunch of crap. I think, overall, that participants did a good job of portrait photography. Most of these would look beautiful displayed in the home of loved ones. There are a few jewels that stand out, I agree. Haven't voted yet because I have to get ready for work, but will vote later.

I'm sorry if you think that's harsh but coming from me, not that harsh. : ) Even my 14 year old looked through them with me last night and said "God, mom.. these are bad!"

Oh and to put your mind at ease.. I'm not voting in this challenge because it would drop my voting ratio down down down.

Roseann even if you are not voting you could make some comments as to how people could improve their shots in the future, after all most of us are here to learn and would welcome some constructive criticism.

I have to disagree with Love's opinion, however. I expected to see a lot of gorgeous model shots in studio settings, and there are some, but I've been surprised at the creative thinking that went into some of these. Even Slippy's. Especially Slippy's. (If it has not come up for you yet, you will know it when it does.)

One of these days I'll figure out the loophole in this site that allows people to see my name all over my photos and then vote them down.
