I didn't enter the challenge (not enetering many at the moment), but it has been a real pleasure voting. I am only a fraction of the way in

I know how everyone likes to complain that their scores are too low, that trolls are bringing them down, etc, etc...
My score is, I feel, too high. Yes, too high. I like my shot - I think it's nicely done. But there are lots that are better. Of course, I'm not about to give the score back or anything, but just thought I'd point out that every once in awhile, scores can also be too high. :-) |

Dropped far enough below 6.0 now that there's really no hope of going back over. It's kind of nice that way. It was stressful watching it bounce over and under and over and under and over and under...

I've never had a score that's too high !! :D
Though I've seen other people with scores that are too high :P

How high is it? Care to offer any hints? Besides the "too high to post in a scoring thread", which clearly you have surpassed there are several others you could be at. For example:
- My GOD this 7 is gonna stick! ~ 7.2
- If I get an honorable mention I'm gonna be sick! ~ 7.3+
- If it's not blue I'm through. ~ 7.5+
- If  dwterry beats me again he's a dead man!!! ~ 7.7+
Oh wait, that last one only applies to me.

LOL, Richard! No, not too high to post in a scoring thread - just that I didn't have scores on. So I turned 'em on, and it's a lovely (and I really mean lovely!) 6.5. I'm quite pleased, very amazed, and just a bit perplexed.
I do like your scale. I'll never need to use it, but it's a fun scale! |

Good thing I don't need to shoot for a flower challenge right now because a really bold deer ate all my daylilies right in the middle of the afternoon! I came home from shopping to find him in my driveway, munching on the daylilies bordering it, and he didn't move till I was almost parked next to him, the little twerp. And there were some nice buds on the cherry red one, too .

Mary I have a friend who also had her Day lilies chomped by her local deer. I guess the thing to do is shoot when you can because you may never get the same opportunity.

I had not actually taken the camera to the grocery store, so the best shot was not an option as the deer was between me and the house. I did, of course, go get the camera and then came outside where it promptly was covered with condensation (cold camera/warm humid outdoors), so the few shots I did get may be a bit, um, fuzzy. If I'm lucky they'll actually qualify as "dreamy."
As penance for missing the better shot, I will go comment on a few Flower pictures :-) |

I actually understand this thinking.
I was floored that my Abandoned entry got a 7+ score.....I loved it, but was totally floored.
