It was between 2 pics and I think I should have picked the other... oh well you live and learn... I was at a steady 4.90 for most of the week. Good luck to all :)

I think that if you are going to rate a photo at a 4 or lower... please please leave a comment on how to make it better. We are all here to learn and the reason we enter these things is to see how we compare... why not help each other succeed? Those who are new (cough me) usually like constructive criticism... just a lunch-time thought :)

I agree with you. I'm just starting out too and any pointers would be great

Unfortunately, many others don't feel the same. If something does not grab them, but is not awful either, it is sometimes difficult to nail down some feedback on these midrange votes. Others are not here to learn, but to find the rare gem that speaks to them, or admire the awesome photography. They may feel that if rubbish (in their opinion) is being submitted, then it is not worth the time.

You have rated 120 of 121 images (99%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 11 images (9%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.0917.

I have already voted on the whole challenge, except for my own sub-5 entry, of course. If I did not leave a comment on your entry, PM me identifying it, and I will be happy to go back and leave you some feedback. I won't change my vote, but I will explain it as best as I can.

That also sounds fair enough

I just reread my earlier post, and just in case someone read it wrong, I did not mean to imply that was how I looked at it. I would be thrilled if we could encourage more commenting on the 4's and 5's. I'm doing my own little part to encourage it.
