| Gearing up for a 101 degree day of eating and celebrating. Enjoy your holiday, everybody. I'll be indoors, except for turning dogs and burgers on the grill. There is a small town parade nearby in about an hour. Can't decide if I am going to go or not. Do I want to start sweating this early? LOL |

ooh 101 degrees... I'll definitely take the 77 we are getting. I'm taking the kids to the parade later today :)

| Gorgeous day here today. High of 82. We'll be leaving for a picnic birthday for my son in a couple hours, followed by a free concert by Foghat & The Marshall Tucker Band, followed by fireworks. I just finished icing the cupcakes, and gave the macaroni salad a few extra tablespoons of mayo. Should be a fun and festive day. Today was also my grandmothers birthday, I cried watching fireworks last night thinking about how much I miss her. |

Going to be about 75-80 degrees here in CA. Going to go to a friend's house after work, then go mooch off of her functioning alcoholic in-laws for vast amounts of tequila (which they readily offer), have a BBQ, try to take some pics of fireworks, then back to her house, watch a movie and pass out. Ahhh :)

I don't have a set plan yet. I think, weather permitting, that I will be going to hang out with my nephew Doug at the "Redneck Yacht Club" event. It's a big GTG where good ol boys from around S W Florida bring their big swamp buggies and other mud toys to play for the day.
Later, the plan is fireworks here in town over the river, maybe take my boat for the show, then back home to watch my grandson Robbie set off all his fireworks. There may be a family evening meal thrown in there somewhere.
I will post some pics of the mudding event if it does not get a rain out.
I hope that everyone's 4th will be dry, happy, and safe.

Taken this morning at a parade. If anyone has suggestions on how to deal with really hard light during an outdoor event, I would appreciate your ideas
