It seems like the new DPC is really just a shift from proprietary, closed
software to free & open software. On the surface, going from IIS/ASP to
Apache/PHP probably made a world of difference in terms of speed (would
drew or langdon like to comment?). Does the same hold true for the
backend? Some of us are interested in the details of the architecture
changes, as the content remains (more or less) the same, and the interface
changes are now (fairly) well documented.
