I forgot I submitted a photo...was hoping to get some more shots. I'm not expecting much since I had to use my little kodak.

ok, I'm below 5 with a comment telling me what's wrong with it. reality has been restored.

A notch above where it was previously. It would be cool if it got back into personal best territory. Especially considering...well. We'll just have to wait for the "considering" part. :)

Night all.

Oh Wow.....I wish I could just get into the 6.4 range sometime ever. And to think that for you that's a mediocre score.

Nope. Not that you should worry anyway. I couldn't possibly keep track of everyone who's told me what's wrong with my pictures! hahahaha

Ok, I just dropped .06 without a change in the number of votes -- so basically someone moved me from an 8 to a 1. Either someone clicked a 1 by accident, or they're playing mind games with me.

Dance my little puppet! :)

I actually haven't voted on this one and I am still debating whether I will or not.

well, if you like my picture, then go for it! Vote. If you don't, then I wouldn't bother, if I were you.

"This one" being the challenge and not your particular shot. Yours is that one with the thing and the do-dad and its composed using the rules of thirds? :)

as for why I am not voting? (May as well spill the beans here) In my mind, the challenge is about using a "ground up" perspective. Many of the shots don't really do this in my opinion and it really looks like a Free Study in my opinion. If it were only a handful I'd be voting and handing out DNMC comments. But with so many? Maybe my point of view is too narrow. As such I am abstaining from voting.

I understand and agree completely -- however, since I rarely give less than a 4 (even for DMNC), I'm still going to vote. There are some that don't meet it exactly, but still meet the spirit of it. There are many that just don't get it. In those type of challenges, I think it's even more important to vote--it's really irritating for people to get beaten by a shot that in no way meets the challenge.

Hmm....good point. I may end up voting. Who knows... (well I guess I do)

At least you received a comment. I'm still waiting for one. Over 90 votes, score barely over a 4, and 0 comments. I would love to get some critical feedback.

Oh, please vote then. Mine is definitely a ground up perspective, so I just know it would be one of the few you'd give a good score too :) Pleeeeeeeease ????? (I'm just teasing you. You don't have to vote if you don't want to :)

Maybe I'll just comment. That way I can cause more havoc and discord.

...and stuff.

I really want to hold onto the 6.5 so I can get 5 challenges in a row in the 6.5+ score range. If I can scrape a top 10 I will have 5 top 10s in a row too. I have found consistency the hardest thing to achieve on DPC so I'm hoping I'm getting closer to it.

Point zero two from a personal best. Yes that needed to be spelled out like that. :)
