In the Top Favourite stakes there has been a recent flurry of activity. Sometime ago Taking Cover (182 votes) overtook Liberty and Justice (171 votes) in the DPChallenge Stakes. Both are out ahead of the field. With some way to go other runners have been jockeying for position. Fantasia (118) has taken the lead recently over Over Troubled Water (116) which is now neck and neck with Zero Spot Editing How?.

Fearless (111) is doing well but Panache (109) is enjoying a new lease of life. The rest of the field are much as they were but we only have information on the top 12 runners, the remaining horses being out of site behind a large clump of php code. If we could see the top 100 we would have a better idea of form. Spring is here though and anything can happen.

For those not aware of this race, go to to Photos>Site Favourite.

That's a contest? It just appears as though the computer is keeping track of stats of some sort. Who can vote? And how? I have a feeling I am missing something obvious!

It appears that photographers just choose their favorite photos and they move up and down as people pick ones they like... nothing crazy. :)

There's plenty of good ones out there. The problem is finding all of them. Anyone else find some good ones this week?

Yeah, I have thought that too, I have always loved shots and photographers jockeying for position. I would LOVE to see more (seeing that they have been quite active recently). I think this is partly due to the fact that people can now have 500 favorites.

You can increase that number by clicking My Preferences in the drop down menu under My Home, and then increasing the number entered in the box beside Images Per Row. This will decrease the size of the thumbnails you see but allow you to get more info about top fav photos. I have my Images Per Row set at six and can see the top 18.
