I think the difference here is really nobody would think that such an eclectic group of pictures was taken by the same person. I might have a bit more issue if someone just posted it all by itself and said, "hey, what do you think about this picture?" where the implication might be a bit more that the poster took it.

Greeting DP.

This is my first time here and unfortunately it is on negitive terms rather then positive. Seems you have a talented community and things run pleasant for the most part. My online photographic home is //www.fredmiranda.com. I freely admit to FM being my web crack and frequent there many times a day. Late last night I came across this collection of images: //www.darkroastedblend.com/2009/06/anything-for-perfect-shot-part-3.html Hilarious right!? I posted them and most everyone got a kick out of em.

Many times when we want to share images or something we see on the net, posting a link is always the way to go about it. I'd guess 30%-50% folks don't and would rather see the images in the post body. That's what I did. As for posting credits, should I have? Sure. Did I? No. Is it a big deal, it's the freaking internet man. There are a gazzilion funny collections like this and they are emailed thousands of times over and over again. I think NikonJeb said it best here. "mountain out of a molehill!"

As for Prof_Fate, dude, seriously. Is this nessisary. Get a freaking life man. Can't say I'm much suprised though. You seem to bring controversy with you wherever you go. For those who want to waste a good hour. (our hero tries to save the day on another posts a few weeks ago: //www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/758285/0

You're a pit in a bowl of cherries man. Trying to bad mouth someone is never the right way to go about things. You could have easily messaged me and if a link meant that much to you I would have put one in. Stay classy.

Sorry for the rant guys, just wanting to clear my name. To Dr. Achoo, I offer an apology if I have offended you by posting. You don't seem to have taken offense and seem reasonable. Excellent work as well.

Have a look at my work if you've got a minute. Take care.

Hope none of his clients see that side of him - very very bad mojo.

Took a nice screenshot of that thread though.

WOW!! Some of Prof_Fates FM posts are pretty incredible.

In a slightly insane way that is..

Sorry Prof, but you really struck out on this one... entertaining read though, and for that I thank you.

I reported the post to the moderators there, but they are asleep. I thought I'd try and get the attention since repeated PMs didn't seem to do it.

This:

Hindsight= ("Hey Sam, might be a good idea to post a little attribution for some of these. I think I know a dude who took one of them. I'll see if I can dig his name up. Just a good idea IMHO. I don't want to be a huge douche bag or anything.)/Hindsight

Likely Reasonable Outcome= ("Hey Prof_Fat, thanks. Didn't think of it, since these are pretty much all over the place already. I know these links go to HERE, HERE and HERE, and the rest came from BLOGX. No offense intended, dudz. ; insert* RickRoll, if x>y, y[person receiving joke isn't douche bag].) / Likely Reasonable Outcome.

It's not like you to be late for a thread like this Art. Now, get photoshopping while it's still fresh... ;-)

am absolutely blown away, not by Prof_Fate as much as the rest of you. One of our own, steps up, and says in essence, I know this image, It does not belong to you, and you have posted it with out giving the photographer proper credit. Then he posted here reporting a photo used without permission . And as a reward is promptly insulted on 2 different photography websites.

I am talking about the same Prof_Fate, whose in depth information is often seen, as first time, or aspiring wedding photographers ask questions.

Then we have Sam who stands for image confiscation, and is now in the attaboy club somehow.

Oh and by the way, about the profanity, look midway threw page 2 of Sam’s proffered post to see how selective are the offences to his delicate sensibilities, and exactly how firmly he dealt with it..

And because of this he should have shown restraint and deference to Jason's opinion. It should be a matter of respect for his reputation and this site.
