I just uploaded my city life outtake and others. If you aren't tired of critiquing, I'd appreciate any brief comments.
This is all in the vein of "when you shoot, let us know...."
Thanks! (Just click on the DPChallenge link on the home page.)

This was my lame attempt to get our focus back on photography (No pun intended!), and off the other thread, as our opinions there have been clearly stated. Any takers? So... meanwhile back at the ranch... has anyone shot anything exceptional outside the challenge guidelines?

Karen, I just tried to check your Xtras, and the three links in the circle appear to be dead. Possibly it's just me after a long day. BTW, I'm uploading some of my outtakes, but photosig only lets me do one per day so it'll take a few days.

Hey Karen,

Your city life outtake is great. I love the sense of chaos your image shows, and the sharp detail really adds to that. My favorite shots are real-life shots, so I would have scored this above the pack.

The other one I like on the page is the bottom left, though my only suggestion is that the bottom part of the image fades into very neutral, almost wasted space. Since it's not a DPChallenge submission, I'd crop that part out ;) Your silhouetting is great on the shot.

Karen,
I couldn't get the links to work either..but I did take some time to look at your family pics....beautiful children and I love what you did with your daughter's room. I bet she loves it too. I'm wanting to do something with both my girl's rooms too, to make them more "girlish". Great job hon.

I finally got on the pbase bus, and I put up my outtakes on there as well. For anyone who needs a place for images, holy crap pbase is easy and quick.

patriotic sydney, glass clouds, and coffee anyone .. all alot of fun : )

yeh pbase is great but the poor guy that runs it, Slug, is really going to have to start charging every one soon because he's overwhelmed as to what he can provide for free (sound familiar? : ) ) .. That's why I'm a Pbase Supporter and encourage anyone else who uses it to be one too : ) ..
