Hi All,

Apologies if there has already been a thread about this comp, but I (and at least Matt gis_boy too) have entered a photo comp run by the Australian airline Jetstar. This is a plea to vote for my entry HERE. I have entered in the amateur category, but I think other DPCers may be in professional.

Matt's entries are also available by searching for Nash (I think we are in separate categories). But here's a link to one Dicky Beach.

If any other Aussies have entered (I'm sure Lisa lentil has entered too, but I can't find her entry), please post a link to your entry in this thread.

Good luck Aussies, and I'm sure we will all appreciate your votes!

Thanks a million!

I really wanted to enter this comp...but thanks to Jetstars lack of destinations...they don't come anywhere near me...and they only go to USA & Hawaii...places I haven't been to.

So good luck to the entrants.

It also stinks about the no- editing rule.
They do go to quite a number of locations in Asia though - so if you have anything from there?

The no-editing is not quite true.

As stated in the rules -

"Entrants may use photo editing software to ensure they are entering the correct file size and the correct file format. No digital manipulation is permitted (ie. cutting out elements, adding elements or undertaking any creative interpretations)."

It doesn's say that you cannot adjust colour, contrast etc.

Doh! I put those in the category of creative interpretations.
I just did the default adobe raw conversion... could have improved things in that case. Oh well.
