I was just thinking the same thing. Sure, if someone votes low it's nice to see why they did so we can improve upon certain aspects of our photography, but isn't it just as helpful for someone who voted high to tell you what was so great about the photo? that way, you'd know what to continue doing in the future, which is just as helpful in my opinion as knowing what to avoid. the rules say to leave constructive criticism for a 3 or below, maybe they should also say to leave justification for votes 8 and above too ;)
i've been around a 5.4 the whole time. pretty much on par for my past free study performance and nothing to make me feel one way or the other. i just like to take pictures and share them |
If someone votes your photo a ten, you know why--they like it as much, or better, than yourself--and you know the reasons why you like it.

Ok... I take back what I said earlier. I'm no longer disappointed with my 5.9xx. I thought I had a very strong image until I finished with my voting. Wow.... there are some TERRIFIC entires this month. If I'm being honest, I'm mid-pack or a little below, which is where my score seems to take me.

Makes no sense to me at all, when I click on the 0 nothing happens, and the score still says Avg Vote: You Failed!

Here we go with the harsh voting again. I was at a 5.66 and just got hit with one of the unexplained 1's. I'm about ready to stay away from the voted challenges for a while.
