OK. I don't have my image ready yet for tomorrow, but I figured I'd start the thread off.

Just a reminder: Don't forget to set the iso back to your normal shooting range after you shoot for this challenge : )

Yeah, I'm sure I'll get burned by that at least once this month. But then, I guess I'll have more for the side challenge!

ISO 6400, I was tempted to NR but I think the grain works :) Out shooting for SoFoBoMo and thought I'd give the hiISO a try, and yes forgot to switch back for a couple of shots so may have some more to post :)

Since I already have a comment for this I better post it up :) Again at ISO 6400

Just had a though, if I shoot ISO6400 with another 2 stops exposure compensation and recover it in RAW conversion, I'm really shooting at ISO25600. Man will have to give that a go :) I think I'm liking this side challenge too much!

Decided I would go a bit further to maximize grain on that one. All photos I post will be ISO3200 with no noise reduction, else, where's the fun ;)?

That's a more realistic example. Weather was crummy today, but meant that I didn't have to go super crazy with aperture/exposure comp. to get a non-overexposed pic during daylight.

Gonna shoot some of these w/ a point and shoot. This coolpix has a High ISO sensitivity setting. The Exif data put it at ISO 1000--not sure if it always bumps that high, but I guess I'll see after playin' around. Used about three passes of USM to bring out the grain.

Taken at 3500 ISO at a music recital.

Well, what a good side challenge this is. I might never have gotten around to selecting an ISO (usually leave that to the camera), much less selecting the HIGHEST ISO!! What an interesting study, I plan to do it again.
