And yes Doc, that third act is a real bitch ;-)

Sweet action! That's awesome on a track. Two weeks ago I did a 5:36 on the treadmill and I can tell you that was at my limit. I felt I was nearly going to die. Unfortunately I've only had limited running the last two weeks and I'm always afraid these things lapse quickly. I should go back to doing a 6:00 tonight and make sure I've still got it. Still have to get onto a track though and do it for "real".

Thanks Doc! This thread actually motivated me to give it a try! But, I don't think I'll try it again in the near future. Long distance is what keeps me going ;-)

Geez, you are dragging a lot of muscle around there. Very inefficient. :) I've got the chest of a prepubescent girl...

Max. Bench: 375lb

Im more of a long distance runner now that im over 200 lbs in weight, but as a teen, I ran the 40 yard dash in 4.5 sec. I run about 5 miles at a time now, in just about 40 minutes.

Typically 5 miles per day, 5 days per week ==> 25 miles per week -- at an 8 minute/mile pace or a bit faster depending on the heat.
