Ladies and Gents,

I was straight forward in my comments today, wasn't conservative when it comes to giving 8 to 10s, but few pictures deserved a 1 to 3, I didn't shy from explaining why.

Sadly, 5.7 is a personal best for me so far, but the good news is that it is a personal best. In the spirit of being motivational, my goal was to reach a personal best, but aside from that, from my shooting this past week, I really feel like my photography is getting better. I'm beginning to see things more before I shoot the photo, as opposed to shooting the photo, and being like "man I should have seen that powerline or that tree out of place..." Anyway, thanks for the comments guys and good luck to Ameed with the quitting smoking...

So far a personal best. This was one challenge that I really could care less about my score though. I just wanted to share the photo and the saying I made up for it. I'm actually thinking of having it printed and tring to sell it around here if I can get a release. |

Its funny, in my first challenge, the ight one, I finished 19th and had 5 comments. I was pretty pleased with my entry into it, whereas I already have 6 comments on this one, all pretty postive and I don't particulary like this entry. |

Yeah, I am doing better than expected, but still not great. I wasn't even planning to enter anything. My shot was actually from another project I was working on and I was going to delete it, but I kind of liked it. I was messing around with cropping it because it had waaaay too much negative space on top and had an idea for this challenge. It is my second best right now. Hope I didn't jinx it by posting it! |
