What did you design for your notecards and greeting cards?

I am preparing to upload files for an order of notecards for an upcoming show. I have heard here in the forums many times that notecards or greeting cards are a good way to make additional sales at shows, especially from the more frugal buyers.

I've pretty much figured out what my cards will look like: 4 by 5.5 inches, folded, with the image on the front, blank on the inside, and my name and contact information on the back along with a reduced opacity image along the left vertical side. I will probably go with the linen or watercolor paper. These will come with envelopes and I plan to sell them individually and offer two sets of six each.

Here are some of the images that will be on the front of the cards. I also have landscape oriented images that I will be using.

and here are the backs of the cards (portrait and landscape)

Now that I am done with my design of the cards and I'm about ready to place the order, I wonder if I have done the best with what I am creating and I wonder if there is something else that I could do better or if there is something that I haven't thought of yet that would produce a better product.

What have you done with your notecards? Did you print full bleed to the edges or did you put some sort of 'frame' around the image? Did you print anything on the inside or leave it completely blank? What did you put on the back?

I'd like to hear your experience with what has worked with your notecards or greeting cards and your suggestions about what I should do.

Thanks a lot.

I did one that had a white border around one. I think simplicity is key :0)

& those are some awesome images for your cards- they'll look great!
